Lance Knadle

At an early age, I was always drawing and my parents supported my artistic ambition. I was inspired by my high school art teacher, who suggested a career in commerical art. Taking this advice, I set out to obtain a degree in graphic design. I received an exceedingly good education from Madison Area Technical College and attribute my technical proficiency and design process skills to all who educated me. It was a great environment to be in; with talented peers who kept blurring the line between art and design. Making art and doing design on my own terms was always my preference but I learned how to re-purpose my skills to meet clients needs with commercial projects. My first projects were collaborations with friends.

While in college, I created flyers, posters, logos and fonts. Those opportunities fueled my desire to learn more about conducting research, developing ideas, designing, refining and producing high quality work on a professional level.

I've been working in the commercial industries of print, graphic design, marketing and advertising since 2004. I'm currently working as a salaried employee primarily doing graphic design for a boutique-size advertising agency. I strive for well-founded ideas that are unique, compelling and effective.
